Are you good enough to play college ball but still unsigned? College coaches are looking for you! The Basketball Connection will be showcasing the best unsigned seniors in Texas and surrounding states to college coaches on Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Houston, TX. If you believe that you are good enough, you should submit your application today! We will evaluate yur application and let you know if you are accepted to participate in this one of a kind event.
The “Best of the Rest” Camp and Showcase will expose participants to college coaches in numerous ways. We have contacted college coaches who are looking for unsigned seniors and we have tailored this event to meet their needs. If you want more coaches to know who you are and what you can do, you should join this elect group of unsigned seniors today!
Camp Begins as Soon as You Apply and are Accepted
The BBC “Best of the Rest” Camp and Showcase is unlike other camps that you may have attended. Once your application is approved, your camp experience and exposure begins! We do not wait until the day of the event to begin working with you. We begin our research and communication efforts right away. We send you guidelines to maximize your camp experience and exposure. We begin building a dynamic web portfolio for you. We compile notes and evaluation information from various sources. College coaches are informed of your participation and they can monitor your portfolio as it grows. Some coaches that attend the camp may be coming just to see YOU!
Why You Should Apply As Soon As Possible
The number of camp participants will be limited and when the camp is filled we will not allow any more players to apply! Registering early allows college coaches to preview your portfolio and this motivates them to SEE YOU workout and play! If you can play and you need exposure, do not hesitate. Collegiate opportunities are provided to those who are positioned and prepared. Procrastinators usually miss out. Coaches will know that the players in our camp are hungry and proactive, these are qualities that they look for in recruits!
Exposure, Exposure, Exposure
Exposure is the name of the game in recruiting. We will expose you and give college coaches what they want and need. We will accurately measure your height and weight. We will measure your skill level and allow college coaches to watch you as we do it. We will video tape your workouts and camp games. These videos will also be made available to college coaches who attend and to many coaches who cannot attend! Any college coach looking for unsigned seniors will be able to access your portfolio and videos. When we are done, you will effectively be exposed to the world.
The Best of “The Best of the Rest”
At this camp you will have the opportunity to prove that you are one of the Best of the Rest! College coaches want to see you play against the best! Our final event will be a “Best of the Rest” All-Star game. Do you really belong? If you REALLY want to play college ball THIS is your opportunity to prove it! How do you make the All-Star team? We will let you know exactly what you need to do BEFORE you arrive at the camp site. Of course, you have to be able to play at a high level, buT other factors will also determine whether you are selected to this elite group of players.
